Behaviour and Relationships

All Saints CEVA Primary School and Nursery Unit is committed to creating an environment where exemplary behaviour is at the heart of productive learning. Everyone is expected to maintain the highest standards of personal conduct, to accept responsibility for their behaviour and encourage others to do the same.

At All Saints we aim to:
•Foster excellent relationships between all members of our All Saints family by displaying genuine care, trust and understanding so we can all work together to create the very best learning environment.
•Ensure that all members of our community are treated fairly and shown respect so we create a safe, comfortable and nurturing environment where we can all be the best we can.
•Ensure all staff and pupils are aware of the very high standards of behaviour that are expected of them and take responsibility for promoting these high standards.
•Help children develop life skills including self-regulation, empathy, social awareness and recognise that every action has a consequence.
•Use restorative approaches.
•Build a community which values and models kindness, good humour, tolerance and empathy for others.

Please feel free to use these rules at home! We often find that the consistency across school and home works wonders!

In addition to our Three Main Behaviour Rules, we also have our All Saints Star which lists our additional rules to follow. These are used alongside Ready, Safe Kind and reminders are shared with children during the day.

 Wow Cards

If we feel that the children have shown something exceptional, such as a huge improvement in effort in class, or a marked effort to improve attendance, or have shown that they have been a responsible citizen helping out at lunchtime, they may be awarded with a 'Wow Card'. These caan be given out by any member of staff and are extremely special, so keep an eye out for these!

Work Home Slips

Unfortunately there may very rarely be an instance where your child has not been following our school rules and therefore not completed their work during the lesson time. In this case, your child may come home with a Work Home slip, explaining the situation and expectations.
