Our COVID-19 Response Updates

Home Learning Work for the children can be found by following this link.

Dear Parents/Carers

This is a time of considerable uncertainty, and I know that as families, schools, communities and as a society, we will need to work together to mitigate the impact of the coronavirus, both in terms of health and in also in continuing to provide good quality educational provision to our young people.

Please be assured that at All Saints, we are following the government guidance which has been outlined, the most recent updates of which can be found here.

Our school is open for children to attend from the following years: Nursery, Reception, Year 1 and Year 6. Also children whose parents are critical workers to the COVID-19 Response and Vulnerable children. Please keep an eye on communcations from the school which give more information regarding spaces in each of the Year Group bubbles.

General Operation:

  • Children will be in group sizes of less than 15 children
  • Children will have the same staff team working with them over the week, that team will only work with those children and will not cross over into other groups.
  • The children will not always have their class teacher.
  • Children must wear clean suitable clothes everyday.
  • The children must not bring anything from home except a water bottle and packed lunch. No reading books, planners, book bags or pencil cases.

We have updated our behaviour policy, safeguarding policy in light of these new arrangements and also there is a home school agreement that you must sign and return to school before your child will be accepted into the school building.

Home Learning:

Home learning is continuing for those children who are at home, but please be mindful that the daily email sent by teachers may vary in timings as they are in school working with a group of children. The children in school are also working on the same learning packs.

If we don't hear from you for a while, you will receive a phonecall from a member of our Safeguarding team to check in to make sure everyone is okay and if there is still no contact made a home visit may be carried out for Safeguarding purposes.

For information surrounding online safety during learning at home and always, please see our Online Safety Page and the documents attached for more information.

As much as possible we would rather you contacted us by phone, if you do need to speak to someone or collect something, we have social distancing in place. The table in the shelter is being used for the transfer of items and has been very successful. The office hours will be from 9.30 to 11.00 for parents in person, the phone is manned from 8.30 am to 3.30 pm.

Any communications that have been sent out during the school closure period can be found on the right hand side.

As the situation changes so rapidly at present, such as governmental discussions around opening over the summer, I will continue to be communicate our responses to you as soon as decisions are made. Thank you for your unerring support over the past couple of months as it has made this very difficult situation much more manageable and ensured that we have all been able to stay safe and healthy.

Take Care Everyone and Keep Safe.
